My ears are still buzzing.  Tonight was one of the most amazing nights of live music I've ever witnessed in Chicago ...the universe even.  Chicago native Anni Rossi played a very warm and upbeat opening set.  If I had enough tape on hand, I would have taped her performance, but sadly I only had a tape and a half.

Looking forward to the source of the issue. Safari 3 no longer seems to hang in Gmail (I was one step away from uninstalling Safari 3 and going back to 2, it was driving me nuts).  It also seems that the iPhone firmware update (which, according to Apple, is comprised solely of "Bug Fixes") makes application switching and sleep / wake functions speedier.  Who knows, it could all be perception. The update improves overall stability, adds the ability to scroll tabbed content while zoomed in, and fixes a glitch which caused the auto-hide interface to disappear.

I was fortunate enough to see Calvin Johnson play a great set on Friday.  The show was mostly comprised of songs from his recent solo records.
